The Lynk&Co 03, a saloon concept previewing the Geely brand's second production model, has been shown at the brand's official launch in the Chinese market.
At an event, attended by the first 800 users of the app-based car-sharing service, the brand revealed the follow-up to its 01 SUV model.
The look of the concept, despite being penned as a 'design prototype', closely matches that of the 01 which has also been revealed in production-ready form at the Shanghai motor show.
Senior vice president Alain Visser announced at the event further details of the brand's subscription model, as well as sales and a home delivery service; in addition to the car-sharing service, Lynk&Co customers will be able to own their own car and will benefit from a lifetime warranty and free connectivity.

Lynk&Co has previously revealed the level of technology to be expected from its models; it will “address the needs and preferences of the new global and connected generation”, and will have internet and cloud access.
The 01 is expected to have a range of engines derived from sister brand Volvo's existing engine lineup, in addition to a subsequent plug-in hybrid version which will share electric power with the upcoming Volvo XC40. The 03 should share engines with the 03, given the two models' similar sizes.
