Nissan will reveal the all-new IMQ concept at next week’s Geneva motor show, believed to preview a future C-segment, Qashqai-sized SUV.
The company has only released a design sketch of the IMQ at this stage, which reveals that it will feature a raised ride height, performance-inspired styling and take the form of a crossover-coupé in the same vein as the recently revealed Cupra Formentor.
As with most automotive design studies, the IMQ’s exaggerated proportions clearly mark it out as a concept. Large wheels, ultra-thin tyres and a narrow window aperture are styling characteristics that will likely be toned down for any future production model based on the IMQ.

The model’s sweeping roofline, extended rear spoiler and angular wheel design hint at a performance-oriented design, implying that the concept could take the form of a ‘hot crossover' like the firm’s Juke Nismo.
Details concerning the IMQ’s powertrain and dimensions are scarce, but Nissan says the model “embodies the future of Nissan Intelligent Mobility and gives a sneak peek as to what might be in your future driveway.”
Nissan’s Intelligent Mobility division is responsible for the development of new autonomous technology.
January’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas saw the sub-brand display its new ‘Invisible-to-Visible’ technology, allowing drivers to see potential hazards around corners.

New Juke
If i had to take a guess. Same way the Qazana previwed the OG Juke back in 2009.
Teleporting?
It doesn't appear to have any doors, which is indeed an interesting concept. Possibly entry and exit will be by teleporting, Stat Trek style. In which case automobile tech is moving on a lot faster than I realised!
Thought the same when I first
Thought the same when I first saw it!!!!
Even if there were doors, you would still need a teleporter to rech the car. Thats some ride height. Personally, I would struggle seeing out the windows. In addition, I feel sorry for any pedestrian that gets impaled on those corners.
Oh well, lets not knock them with pernickerty comments. We need creativity somewhere.
Does it matter..?
Still come out the Gate looking like the rest, apathy?, we’ll, yes, because for the last few years what’s come on sale looks almost like any other Car.....
