It’s hard to learn everything you need to know about a new car in a single, short test drive. To find out if a car fits into your lifestyle you need to live with it for an extended period of time.
The Nissan Qashqai has been designed to offer space and comfort to both drivers and passengers. And to showcase how it achieves that, Nissan gave a select number of Autocar readers the chance to live with a Qashqai for seven days.
Tim Gow from Yorkshire was one of the readers selected to take part. He currently drives a Honda CR-V, and is considering a new machine, with space and comfort among his top priorities.
As well as handing Tim the keys to a Qashqai, Autocar gave him an iPad to record his honest views of the machine as he used it. To find out his honest opinions, watch this video.
Tim had never driven a Nissan before, but several of his friends own Qashqais and are hugely positive about them. So what did Tim think?
“The space inside the car was pretty good,” said Tim at the end of his week. “On a fast motorway run the car was very stable, and it’s not afraid of corners, even when the boot is full of books."
He added: “The Qashqai would absolutely fit into our lives. You can get a lot of stuff in it, my dog likes it, and it doesn’t cost the earth to run.”
