The inaugural London Classic Car Show, which is taking place at the ExCeL centre in London's Docklands, will be open to the public until Sunday 11 January.
Event director Bas Bungish said: “The capital hasn’t even had a traditional classic car show for far too many years – and it’s never had a event like the London Classic Car Show."
A wide range of classic cars and supercars are on display, including one of the earliest Series 1 Land Rovers and a Porsche 959 – a twin-turbocharged homologation special that was once the world's fastest production supercar.
Other highlights include James May's 13 most significant cars, a live parade section, a homage to the career of Red Bull designer Adrian Newey, a celebration of 100 years of Maserati and myriad historic race cars.
A selection of modern cars also feature, including a Citroën DS3 – as part of the DS brand's 60th anniversary - and the indomitable LaFerrari.
Tickets cost £25 on the door, or are offered online for £22. Family and group deals are also available, as are premium packages.
"It’s the perfect way for every petrolhead to start the New Year, but it’s not just for the enthusiast; there’s something here for everyone,” added Bungish.

Wish I had time to visit...
Selfish I know, but Goodwood is far closer so that's my annual pilgrimage.
Looks good...from what you can ACTUALLY see in the miniscule photo's. Still no reaction to all our complaints about this from Haymarket...clearly don't give a damn!
