Promoted: why the Toyota C-HR won an Autocar Game Changer Award

The CH-R a game changer please! it's nothing of the sort it's just another crossover built on existing an existing Toyota platform. What it actually is a replacement for the poorly selling Toyota Urban Cruiser or as it was known in the US the Scion xD. For those who've never heard of Scion it was Toyota's US division attempt to sell to the youth market.it started quite well,but things soon started to go belly up and Scion as a stand alone marque was eventually dropped last year. Like Scion,there's nothing new about the CH-R it's just another marketing led hatchback trying to cash in on the current vogue for small pseudo SUV's and is likely to go the same way as the Urban Cruiser
