Nissan offers a broad range of careers in the UK covering every area in the automotive industry – there really is something for everyone. For example, The Nissan Skills Foundation – a scheme to get young people interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) – has reached more than 80,000 children from primary and secondary schools.
It includes a programme specifically for teenage girls called GIMME – Girls in Monozukuri, Manufacturing and Engineering – which offers presentation and engagement opportunities with women in the automotive industry. Nissan continues to see rising numbers of female applicants to the graduate scheme, and through continued focus on diversity and inclusion aims to increase the number of women in senior positions within the company.
