The Senat is the first vehicle from the new Russian luxury car brand that was established by NAMI, the Russian automobile research authority, to fulfil President Vladimir Putin’s desire for the country to build its own state vehicles. The all-wheel-drive model features a hybrid powertrain and is the commercial version of the extended Senat Limousine, which features ballistic and explosive protection. It’s built for comfort as well as strength: passengers in the back are promised plenty of leg room and a built-in refrigerator with Aurus-branded crystal glasses.
