specifically refers to whether a font is normalitalic, or oblique. Other technical styles include

Monospace: Every character occupies the same fixed width, creating a mechanical or "typewriter" look common in coding environments. Font Generator Serif: Features small "feet" or strokes at the ends of letter terminals (e.g., Times New Roman). These are often seen as formal, elegant, and traditional.
Sans-serif: Characterized by clean, straight lines without decorative tails (e.g., Arial, Helvetica). These convey a modern and minimalistic feel.
Script/Cursive: Designed to mimic human handwriting, ranging from formal calligraphy to casual, flowing strokes.
