Currently reading: Mitsubishi's evolved VIII line-up

Mitsubishi’s new range of Evo VIII MR models will go on sale at the beginning of May. Prices are higher than originally announced, starting at £27,999 for an FQ-300, rising to £32,999 for a range-topping FQ-340.

Meanwhile, Mitsubishi will soon announce a dramatic overhaul of its worldwide operations.

Plan V is designed to cut huge losses and could streamline model choice to 10 core lines, close underperforming factories and start more platform sharing with sister firm Chrysler. Smart boss Andreas Renschler led the Mitsubishi review – and is tipped to replace Rolf Eckrodt as chairman.
