The Aston Martin DBS replacement has been spied testing again, carrying less disguise than ever.
The pictures confirm that the production car will look near-identical to the new Project AM310 concept car that was shown at the Villa d'Este Concours d'Elegance last weekend, and carry several design cues taken from the Aston Martin One-77.
The new DBS is expected to be based on the latest development of Aston’s familiar VH platform. The biggest changes are believed to be in the materials used for the construction of the chassis and the bodywork; Aston Martin is known to be considering using much more carbonfibre in its production cars.
The new concept is powered by the latest version of Aston’s familiar V12 engine, with reports suggesting it has been retuned to produce around 550bhp.
The new Aston DBS will go on sale in 2013.
