Now in its seventh year, the Salon Privé supercar show and Concours d’Elégance showcases a host of modern and classic performance machines. The exclusive event, situated in picturesque Syon Park in West London, starts tomorrow and runs over three days.
Here are some of the highlights to expect on display at this year’s event:
Aston Martin
Aston’s line up includes the V12 Zagato, of which only 101 examples will be made, the new Vanquish super GT and the £1.2 million One-77 hypercar. The event will also see the world motor show debut of the eagerly-awaited Vantage V12 Roadster, scheduled for production later this year.
Bentley
Bentley Motors will show the new Continental GT Speed, the fastest production Bentley ever made. It’s the first time the W12-engined, 205mph car will be seen in London. Other stars in the company’s line up will include the Mulsanne and the Continental GT V8 Convertible.
Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera
The Italian coachbuilder will display two new models in the UK for the first time: the Maserati Bellagio, a five-door adaptation of the Quattroporte, and the Disco Volante 2012, a modern recreation of the famous 1952 experimental concept car built on running gear from Alfa Romeo's 8C Competizione. Two concept cars – the Maserati-based A8GCS and the Tornante supercar – are also expected.
Eterniti Motors
The Porsche Cayenne-derived Artemis will take pride of place on the London-based company’s stand.
Ferrari
There’s a mixture of old and new from Maranello. The Ferrari California and FF will be present, as well as a collection of F40s in the Concours d’Elégance to mark 25 years of the model.
Jaguar
The highlight of Jaguar's line-up is the XJ Ultimate which recently broke cover in Beijing. Jaguar will also showcase the XKR-S convertible, XK Special Edition and XF Sportbrake, in addition to vintage Jaguar models joining the Tour d'Elégance (a 21-mile tour for 31 cars from the Concours competition to open the event).
Mercedes-Benz
Mercedes’ display will feature a collection of 300SL Gullwings to celebrate the 60-year anniversary of the model. The iconic car’s modern equivalent, the SLS supercar, is also expected.
Overfinch
The Range Rover aftermarket specialist is unveiling the limited-edition 575bhp Sport GTS-X and £89,995 Evoque 2012 GTS on Wednesday.

That orange Lamborghini looks good. Spoilt for chocie. I predict the bottom will fall out of the Supercar market, but the question is when ? Can it be sustained for another mad 10 years or has it peaked, with a £1.2million Aston One-77.
