A special edition has spearheaded the American launch of the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante, the limited run making its world premiere at the LA motor show.
Just 10 examples of the Neiman Marcus Edition Vanquish Volante will be built by Q by Aston Martin, the firm’s customisation arm.
The car has been created in conjunction with dealer Galpin Aston Martin and appears in the prestigious 2013 Neiman Marcus Fantasy Christmas Catalogue. Aston Martin says the model was inspired by the Prince of Wales’s DB6 Volante.
The Seychelles Blue paint is matched to the Prince of Wales’s DB6, and it features an Atlantic Blue roof and sterling silver badges. The cabin counts black leather trim with blue welt, a One-77 steering wheel, walnut veneer dash inserts and a matching luggage set among its bespoke features.
The Neiman Marcus Edition Vanquish Volante is priced at $344,500 (£214,300), some $46,500 (£29,000) more than the standard car.
