Jaguar XJR8/9 driver Justin Law recorded the fastest time up the Goodwood Festival of Speed hillclimb course in the final timed shoot-out, setting a time of 45.95sec up the 1.16-mile course en route to his fifth victory in the 21-year-old event.
Law, who previously won in 2003, 2005, 2008 and 2009, drove his Silk Cut-sponsored Le Mans car up the hill fastest in the final runs of the day, which were televised live.
French sports car racer Gregory Guilvert had looked set for the win in the Peugeot 208 T16 that Sébastien Loeb used to win at Pikes Peak two weeks ago. However, his time of 45.86sec in the 875bhp, 875kg car was eventually pipped by Law.
Driving Drayson Racing’s electric Le Mans racer, which recently set the land speed record for an electric car, GT ace Jonny Cocker managed a time of 47.34sec, to take the final podium position.

In the description they say clearly that it was the the fastests on the hill.

The times seem to be the wrong way round in the article, it says that 45.95 seconds is quicker than 45.86 seconds

That 45.86 is completely made up. I found the results online somewhere, the 208 T16 actually did a 47.32. The times for the Jaguar and Drayson cars are correct.
