Nissan CEO Ivan Espinosa is "sure" the firm will be able to find another car maker to fill the available capacity at its UK factory in Sunderland.
The Japanese company recently consolidated its operations at the Wearside plant, shuttering one of the two production lines there in response to output falling around 50% from an all-time high of more than half a million cars.
