Five-cylinder, 362bhp engine + really long tunnel + wound-down window = fun

As you will be aware, Audi is so excited about its new RS3 that it’s enlisted our friends over at PistonHeads to promote a series of videos, the fourth of which you can see below.

We all know there’s no better place to unleash a great engine sound than a tunnel – which is why we took the new Audi RS 3, with its roaring, popping, thunderous 362bhp five-cylinder heart, to Hindhead. And it just goes to show that you don’t have to break the speed limit or drive like a nutcase to make beautiful, petrol-powered music…

The extra pot

This engine is the aspect of the new RS3 where it steals a lead over all its competitors since no other offers a 5-pot. Not even Ford.
